I thought you might enjoy a lighter note in the mailings, so I'm sending links that you may find useful. The first one is from a source I've mentioned to you before, Marylaine Block ( http://marylaine.com/resume.html ), a librarian who sends out a free weekly e-mail of interesting links. Very handy! Next is a site that offers a daily e-mail on how to get healthy, wealthy, and successful. It's called "Early to Rise", and you can peruse the site and sign up for the newsletter here:

Another useful site (and associated newsletter) is found below. MindTools touts itself as the "Internet's most visited career skills resource". It may be just what you need in this new year!

Next is a site that will allow you to check out newspapers of all sorts: US daily and weekly, Canadian, International, college newspapers, archives, media organizations, you name it! The internet truly IS a library on your desktop.

You probably already know about the next link, which is "Alabama's most interactive, comprehensive online source for up-to-date news, sports, entertainment, travel, business happenings and classifieds." and is developed in cooperation with Alabama's three best newspapers: The Birmingham News, The Huntsville Times and Press-Register. It's a way to keep in touch with state happenings and to advertise to a wide market. Use the classifieds to sell your car or to look for a job.
